Repair procedures
1. | Remove the rear seat cushion assembly. (Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly") |
2. | Remove the rear seat belt buckle. [LH, CTR] 1) | Press the lock pin, separate the rear seat belt connector (A). |
2) | Loosen the mounting bolt, remove the rear seat belt buckle (A). Tightening torque : 39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft) |

[RH] 1) | Press the lock pin, separate the rear seat belt connector (A). |
2) | Loosen the mounting bolt, remove the rear seat belt buckle (A). Tightening torque : 39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft) |

3. | To install, reverse the removal procedure. •
| The buckle and tongue of different types are impossible to be latched, so check that the buckle & tongue have the same types. |

| Distinguish the rear side seat buckle from the center seat buckle before latching. |
•
| If foreign materials are stuck in the inside button of buckle, it may cause interference during the latching process, leading to a functional problem (for example - beverages (viscous drinks), toothpicks, sand, plastic, vinyl, metal pieces, etc.) |
•
| After latching the buckle and tongue, check the fastening force using a Push - Pull Gauge (fastening force: 3kgf or less). |
