Hyundai Elantra: Warning and Indicator Lights / Low Tire Pressure Warning
Light
This warning light illuminates:
• When you place the ignition in the ON
position.
-- It illuminates for approximately 3
seconds and then goes off.
• When one or more of your tires are
significantly underinflated. (The
location of the underinflated tires is
displayed on the LCD display.)
This warning light remains ON after
blinking for approximately 60 seconds, or
repeatedly blinks ON and OFF in 3 second
intervals:
When there is a malfunction with the
TPMS.
In this case, have the vehicle inspected
by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer as
soon as possible.
WARNING
Safe Stopping
- The TPMS cannot alert you to severe
and sudden tire damage caused by
external factors.
- If you notice any vehicle instability,
immediately take your foot off the
accelerator pedal, apply the brakes
gradually with light force, and slowly
move to a safe position off the road.
This indicator light illuminates:
• When you place the ignition switch to
the ON position.
-- The Electronic Stability Control
indicator light illuminates for about
3 seconds and then goes off...
Other information:
When the front windshield where the
front view camera is located, front radar
cover, bumper or sensor is covered with
foreign material, such as snow or rain, it
can reduce the detecting performance
and temporarily limit or disable Forward
Collision-Avoidance Assist...
To operate the lights, turn the knob at
the end of the control lever to one of the
following positions:
1. OFF position
2. AUTO headlamp position
3. Parking lamp position
4. Headlamp position

of your vehicle during the day, especially
after dawn and before sunset...
